Motherhood is hands down one of the most beautiful and powerful times we experience as women. The love that an expecting Mother shares with her unborn child is compared to nothing short of miraculous.

Since the moment I met Jasmine and Bobby for their maternity dress fitting, I knew there was something special about them both.

So if you didn't know, my lovely clients (yes you're all lovely) get access to my client closet that is filled with designer pregnancy gowns from the industry's favorite maternity gown designers and those are all available for every expecting Mama who comes my way. Lets be honest here guys, no one has time or wants to be searching for a maternity dress when they're pregnant and getting ready for their photo shoot.

Anyway, back to Jasmine and Bobby... seriously guys! Jasmine was the sweetest thing since my last cheat meal, and Bobby probably wanted to choke me after how many times I said "no phones in pockets, Bobby". LOL! We seriously laughed a ton.

The first few minutes of anyones maternity session is always pretty awkward, I make my ordinary corny jokes, my clients politely laugh even though they probably weren't that funny, and I make them incredibly uncomfortable being mushy in front of my camera.

Through all the craziness that comes from my mouth, and the crashing beach waves, something beautiful happens. There is a distinct moment during every maternity session when a woman is just undeniably her. She is comfortable in herself, she feels amazing, she's settled into the posing, and that's the moment that I know I have done what I came to accomplish.

I saw the light in Jasmine's eyes during her maternity photo session that made me remember why I do what I do. When you can take a woman who is pregnant and feeling all out of her element due to her ever changing body and her newly acquired baby bump, and put a beautiful dress on her which makes her feel beautiful, that's what this is about for me.

This is your time, pregnancy is your moment. I'm here to guide you through the portrait process but in the end, these images are about you, your love, your partner, and you're beautiful miracle baby.

Gosh, I'm such a softy. Seriously guys... I love you to life, and I can't wait to meet that sweet little munchkin when she makes her grand arrival.
