Congratulations! Pregnancy is such a huge milestone for families and I'm so glad you've found me! Taking the time to document these special times will be some of your favorite memories to look back on. I highly recommend booking at the very beginning of your second trimester as I book up months in advance and you'll want to have your maternity session scheduled between 29-34 weeks.
My maternity sessions are fully custom so the sky is the limit when planning.
Located in Plant City, Florida, the studio is only 20-30 minutes from Tampa bay.
Her private commercial studio is located in downtown and is filled with beautiful designer maternity gowns, and every newborn prop and accessory you could ever dream of.
Rachel services Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Lakeland, Wesley Chapel, Land O' Lakes, Orlando, and nearby areas in central Florida. She does travel to local Florida beaches like Siesta key, Clearwater, and St. Pete beaches for maternity photo shoots.
We offer both in studio maternity sessions for those Mama's who are hoping to stay out of the heat and humidity, or a local Florida park, and beaches in St. Pete and Sarasota for outdoor and beach maternity photos as well.
I do have a client closet filled with designer maternity gowns that are available for you to use during our time together. Since maternity gowns can get quite expensive, I love being able to take some of the burden off of my clients and allow them to truly relax and enjoy this time!
Once we get you booked, we plan out the perfect session for you and cover everything we will need to before your big day.
If you want to truly be pampered, we do offer in studio hair and makeup with our team of stylists for all studio sessions. This makes studio sessions so easy for our Mamas!

During pregnancy your body is doing incredible things! While you go through these changes, my goal is to make timeless images that give that Goddess feeling and make you feel empowered. Maternity photo sessions are all about you as a Mother and your newborn baby. The experience with me is completely custom to your wants and desires. As a Professional Photographer, you can rely on me to guide you through posing and be confident that I have the skills to photograph your beautiful baby bump in its most flattering poses and positions. I have more than 10 years of experience in posing expecting Mama's to create the stunning imagery you find on my website. My specialty is to take everyday women and make them feel and look fabulous! You will have full access to my client closet of designer maternity gowns ranging from size 0- 26. I pride myself on creating an experience that is made for every woman, regardless of size. I truly believe that every woman is beautiful and it's my mission to show you how absolutely stunning you are!
When you contact me, we will go over all the details of your session and cover every last detail together. I will handle all the details including helping you with your outfits for your photo session as well.
I like for my sessions to be very laid back and concentrate on the love between you and your family. Above everything else... my clients find that working with me is empowering. Pregnancy can change your body and it’s not often that you get glammed up in a beautiful gown in and get to just spend time with your significant other. This is what I love the most about the service I provide.

What to expect and how a maternity session works
Empowering Maternity Portraits
Our focus is to allow every woman to feel how absolutely powerful they are during pregnancy. Let's be real, some times pregnancy is not glamorous. This is what I am here for. I want to show every mother how amazing they are in the form of powerful artwork. The fact that you are growing a whole human makes you so incredibly powerful and I want to help you capture that.
Hair and makeup during your session
For outdoor sessions: I can give you our teams contact info so you can meet with them for hair and makeup if you choose to.
For studio sessions: I work with established hair and makeup artists who are available to come to the studio for your session. This gives our Moms an opportunity to relax and truly feel like a queen before we start your session. You'll show up and we take care of the rest!
Maternity gowns
I do have a client closet filled with designer gowns that you're more than welcome to wear during your session. If you'd like to bring your own gown thats absolutely okay as well. You can view some of those options here- Maternity gowns available
What to bring with you to your maternity photo session
Wear whatever you feel comfortable and beautiful in. Here’s some ideas of what to bring

Neutral strapless bra and seamless underwear

Black bra and panty set *Indoor* (for those black background belly shots)

White/ivory bra and panty set *Indoor* (for those white background belly shots)

Men’s button up top (for significant other/husband), jeans, or slack pants depending on the look we are going for.

Any favorite scarves, accessories, jewelries, etc.

When is the best time to book a maternity session?
I always recommend booking at the end of your first trimester. Spots fill up fast so inquiring early will help you make sure you get a spot. For expecting mamas with singletons, a good time to do your maternity photos when you are 28 – 34 weeks along. Your belly is full but you are still comfortable to pose. For expecting mamas with twins (or more), come in earlier around 26 – 32 weeks as twins tend to arrive much earlier than singletons.
