What a pleasure to meet this sweet couple and their baby girl! We got together for outdoor family photos at a pretty little spot in Brandon, FL (about half an hour from my photography studio in Plant City.) It was a beautiful evening and the light was perfect!
I like to shoot outdoor photos near sunset for that gentle glow you can see here. The hour before sunset is a photographer’s favorite time for a reason! The light is soft and flattering, and you don’t have to worry so much about glare or distracting contrasts between light and shadow. Golden hour is basically made for portraits!
Baby Bailey was a little cranky since it was close to bedtime for her, but she still wanted to snuggle, so we were able to take advantage of that. She was such a cutie and we got plenty of great family pictures for them to choose from.
